Adopt a Furry Friend Today!

Rev. A.L. Carpenter MDiv., DMin., PhD.

I have pastored Churches for over 40 years in addition to working as a evangelist conducting revivals throughout California and Nevada. I have taught Seminary courses and have spoken at Churches and conference halls throughout the country.

I received a Bachelor of Arts from California Baptist University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary,  a Doctorate of Ministry degree for San Francisco Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Newburgh Theological Seminary. I have four years of Biblical Hebrew and four years of Biblical Greek.

I say all of this to point out I am a trained theologian and have decades of experience  working with the Church. Am I a vegetarian? I was not in the past, yet I am now. Have I participated in the exploitation and cruelty towards animals? Ashamedly so! Do I have time left to do everything in my power to stop any contribution I am making towards animal cruelty and animal exploitation? I pray God may give me a few years more to do what I should have stared many years ago.

Every morning I wake with the knowledge that my meat free diet has harmed no animal. I do not use eggs, milk, cheese, butter, ice cream or any other food that comes from any animal that is a product of animal agriculture.

One last word to all those who seek to use the Bible to justify their justification of animal farming and all the cruelty it entails. Do not email me your justifications, I am not interested. Rather look an animal in the eyes and tell that animal that you believe you have a God given right to kill it, cook it over a fire and eat it. Tell that animal that when you are done you will find its young and kill and eat it also.

God is watching and God knows the bleat of every lamb and He sees their tears.
